Berwick

We made it! Tracey was waiting out in the front yard with her newest member of their family a 2 year old greyhound(brindle color) dog. It is one that came from an organization that rescues them from the racing circuits.

After they race race them for a short while they put them down if they haven't performed very well. That is when this organization steps in and takes them and finds good homes for them. What a beautiful dog!! They seem to have a lot of emotional problems but that will soon be overcome. Little things like not knowing how to go up a set of stairs. As a race dog they were never near any stairs so it is new to him and he has never lived in a house with a family.
Andy and Tracey's house is very nice and they have done a great job of fixing it up keeping in mind the period it is from. Still lots to do but coming along fine.
Gramps (Rick) cooked dinner last night and we got to meet Tessa's boyfriend Graham (a very nice young man or teen or whatever). Cole at 10 is a very likable boy who enjoys the outdoors and his motorized bike. We haven't seen Gable yet as he lives inLower Sackville with his dad and family. And then of course there is our daughter Tracey who is very happy with her new life and new partner. Life in the little town of Berwick suits them fine. Too bad we can't pick it all up and put it in BC!!
