Lots of wind

Checking around the town of Gaspe was futile looking for campgrounds as most don't open until mid-June out here and the ones that were open we wouldn't stay at! Anyways on to Perce a really neat touristy town with lots of campgrounds, restaurants and souvenir shops! The wind really blows on the Gaspe Penninsula! We will be adding pictures to our last couple of blogs once we get WiFi access. We went through a really picturesque village "Grande-Vallee". Got into a traffic tie-up with road work at Riviere Bernard. This morning we really enjoyed the scenery all the way to New Brunwick and the feeling we are back in Canada! There is a lot of red soil around here just like P.E.I. There was a wooden carving of a fisherman on the rocks at Bonaventure, Quebec. We made lunch and went for a windy walk. Now we are off towards Bathhurst, NB to find camping for the night.
